I started a photo blog. Just cuz. http://just-another-photographer.blogspot.com/
It's photos I've taken. Some are snapshots, some are more professional. Depends on my mood.
As for my life, in summary:
The boyfriend and I have decided, at some point within the next year, we're going to move in together. The timing will depend on finding the right apartment. We have a lot of requirements that must be met. We have standards! Sort of.
I no longer am fostering 10 kittens and am, in fact, done fostering for a long time. WAY too much work. I'd rather donate money to the SPCA. We have kept one of the kittens though. Apollo. A mellow yet strange boy cat for Loki to play with. Although at the moment she spends most of her time swatting him whenever he goes to sniff her bum and smacking him whenever he approaches her play palace. She does allow him to sleep within 1.5 feet of her now and he can rub against her ONCE in a day. This is a vast improvement from 3 days ago when the distance was set to 8 feet and the rubbing limit was zero.
Apollo is also sort of my cat. He snuggles with me and not Melissa. I like that about him. The only problem is that whenever I'm home he wants my attention the ENTIRE time and if he doesn't get it he'll meow nonstop until he gets it. I try to ignore him and not to laugh when he meows but sometimes he gets so loud I crack up at the intensity. He doesn't just want my attention, he NEEDS it apparently. lol.
My summer job is going well. I really enjoy what I'm doing. It's all charity based research and such so its fun. And they let me set my own pace and schedule. I wish it were permanent. Ah well. Soon it'll be back to school full-time. Actually, sort of double time. Full-time at UNB finishing my Master's and part-time at NBCCD to finish my diploma.
I'll have more credentials then anyone else in the family. Yay?
I've also decided this year not to plan anything for my bday. I planned my roommate's bday party and Brett's. So I'm planned out. I'll just hang with the boy and lounge around all day. Not a bad way to spend one's 28th birthday. :-)
Um, what else? Oh, I got a scholarship to UNB! Yep, go me! It's something like $5500 and it gets spread out over the entire year. It's like having a job while you're in school. It'll be nice. Hopefully it won't affect my loan and I'll still get the maximum amount for school/living. :-D
I think that's everything.
Oh, I love Jalapeno chips.
NOW that's everything. :-)
